The Executive Board and the Legislative Committee of New Yorkers Against Gun Violence are proud to announce the endorsement for New York State Assembly District #13

Chuck Lavine

Rebecca Fischer, NYAGV Executive Director, stated, “Gun violence is preventable and New York State has shown that strong gun laws reduce gun deaths and injuries.

We endorse Chuck Lavine because he has demonstrated the leadership to stand up to the NRA and extremists in the legislature and will continue working to enact state legislation that will save lives. We urge New Yorkers to vote for Chuck on November 6th to help protect our families and communities.”

Marybeth Baxter, NYAGV Long Island Coordinator, says, “Our endorsement reflects the confidence we have in Chuck that he will continue to support NYAGV’s legislative efforts to advance the cause of gun violence prevention and gun safety legislation in the state legislature.”

New Yorkers Against Gun Violence will urge our members and supporters to vote for NYAGV Gun Violence Awareness Candidates when casting their ballots this November.
